1. BACKGROUND.
We are a team of Yale, McKinsey, and NSF I-Corps alum. We have won awards for our work in education and we have been invited to speak at the American Association of School Administrators (AASA) conference. We make it easier for experts to get paid to help Pre-K-12 school systems address the many challenges and opportunities they face.
2. WAYS TO GET PAID.
We offer three main ways to get paid to do what you love. First, you can share articles for our app for Pre-K-12 administrators, teachers, parents, and students. Second, you can consult with school district administrators on strategies (e.g., initiatives, policies, programs, systems, instructional practices, professional development, etc.). Third, you can conduct research & analysis. Below, we discuss each way to get paid to do what you love.
2.1 GET PAID TO SHARE ARTICLES.
We offer Pre-K-12 schools an app for administrators, teachers, parents, and students. Our app offers three main benefits. First, our app provides a searchable database of carefully vetted articles prepared by experts. We pay you to write the articles. Second, our app provides readers with help actually implementing learnings from the articles. Third, our app allows readers and experts to exchange quick messages regarding experts' articles and ideas. Below, we describe each benefit of our app.
2.1.1. SEARCHABLE DATABASE OF ARTICLES.
Our app provides a searchable database of articles for Pre-K-12 school systems. A problem with current articles by experts is that they are often only read and used by a small portion of the people who could benefit from the articles. One cause of this problem is that experts typically write articles for a single audience / reader type. To address this problem, our app uses A.I. to create personalized versions of each article. The personalized versions are based on readers' roles (e.g., administrator, teacher, parent, student, etc.); preferred languages; reading levels; personalities; etc. This increases the number of people who are able and willing to use articles by experts to improve outcomes, without forcing experts to write numerous versions of each article.
2.1.2. HELP IMPLEMENTING LEARNINGS FROM ARTICLES.
Our app also provides readers with significant help in implementing learnings from articles. A problem with current expert articles is that they often contain good advice that is not simple to implement. As a result, readers often like the advice but fail to implement the advice. To address this problem, our app uses cutting edge behavior change technology. This includes reminders, open-and-closed-ended quiz questions, progress tracking, frequent encouragement and support, solutions to common implementation problems, etc. This helps readers successfully implement learnings from experts' articles.
2.1.3. QUICK MESSAGE FEATURE.
Our app also allows article readers and experts to exchange quick messages. This allows experts to better understand how their ideas are being used and what obstacles readers are encountering as they try to implement the ideas. This, in turn, helps experts iterate and improve their ideas more rapidly and encourages strategy and / or research & analysis consulting projects with school systems.
2.2. GET PAID FOR STRATEGY CONSULTING.
A second way to get paid to do what you love is to complete strategy consulting projects for school systems. A problem with doing strategy consulting projects for school systems is that business and project management tasks take significant time and energy. To address this problem, we handle the business and project management tasks. This helps experts get paid to do what they love and eliminates the need to spend significant time and energy on business and project management tasks.
2.3. GET PAID FOR RESEARCH & ANALYSIS.
A third way to get paid to do what you love is to complete research and analysis projects for school systems.
